Do you go to Didim to buy your pet food & supplies?
Would you like to have your items delivered to Akbuk?
Some friends & I feel there is enough trade available in our town to make it worth while for a cheap supplier to deliver our pets needs to Akbuk, perhaps to a central point where we could collect our supplies without having to go all the way to Didim. To that aim I have started a Web Poll on our Akbuk website. If you live in Akbuk and buy pet food etc, we are asking you to join the poll.
If we get enough votes we will approach one or more leading suppliers in Didim and report back.

A great idea, which Sue and I have thought of already, but we have not yet retired to Akbuk with our 2 dogs, so do not yet need the service - Give us 4 to 5 years and Sue will be out there permanently with 'Charley' and 'Paddy'. Does anybody know the availability of particular types/brands of dog food in the Didim/Akbuk area?

ReplyDeleteAlas only 14 votes in one month, we will speak to a supplier but we doubt there has been enough interest to influence a supplier to deliver to Akbuk on a regular basis.

On 19th October Aybek Veterinary Clinic & Pet Supplies shop opened in Akbuk. The shop is located on the main road next to The Teapot Cafe. As well as veterinary services they have a good range of reasonably priced pet foods, which should save many Akbuk owners fetching their supplies from Didim.
